Discredibility of Controverty

One of the things that we see a lot, well, just about since the beginning of western scholars, is the idea of ignoring some facts, simply because the social structure does not let them to be accepted.

It starts with pretty silly things, like accepting other’s orientations and perversions, and continues throughout other facts and theories (of the scientific type). For example, Freud’s Penis envy is seen as complete misogyny, while, really, it may not be far from the truth, whatever it is. Also, along comes just about any statement that might seem to imply that humans are not equal.

Humans are probably not equal at birth. I won’t be terribly surprise if intelligence is based on genetics at least partially for example; and yet I’m sure that people would still not accept it, although it would hypothetically be absolutely factual.

This applies also to deeper levels of society, such as for example most Judo-Christian mythology (”The Bible”) can easily be refuted even by common sense. But since the social structure does not allow such a change, factual evidence is then ignored in favor or social evidence.

So, just think about it.
