Today I went to attend in this rather interesting event - J-Popcon 2005.
First of all, I was quite surprised by the number of people in there. I expected a way smaller event, although this could have also been since I chose the most expensive day with the most activities. I really don’t know, but the number of people was really nice.
Not to mention - the demographics were interesting too. So many _women_ (yeah, those creatures do exist after all, funny). I don’t think I even saw that many back in iCon (Star Trek and Role-Playing convention) or any Magic the Gathering contest I ever went to. I got to talk to some actually. So many girls jumping around. Let me talk about them later.

Hello everybody.
This weekend - Friday through Sunday - it’s J-Popcon 2005. If you live in Denmark, you gotta go there. It’s in Valby this year, probably it was like that last year, but I wouldn’t know really, I only found it this year. Check out their website for more details. I’m very sorry that they don’t have it in English as well, I found it hard to understand what it says too, but I managed to understand it somehow.
Looks like they open the doors at 15:00 (3pm) or so. It costs about 100 kroner or so. Not too bad, something like a night out in Copenhagen - not including dinner and a movie.
Be sure to catch me there. Print out a copy of my self portrait if you don’t know what I look like. I’m the guy with the long hair (which doesn’t appear in the portrait, because it’s in the back of my head tied up in a ponytail of course.
Post a comment if you’re coming too.
