“Butter + Life” – making progress

Right now my new drawing, _”Butter + Life”_, seems to be making good progress towards a finish sometime soon. Last night I’ve been working on it for several hours, probably four or so, but I haven’t really counted it. I’m very happy to announce that probably by the end of this week it’ll be completely ready for publishing.

If you’ve been to Denmark already you may be familiar with a common brand of butter dubbed “Kaergaarden”. They have two sized of boxes – short – with less butter; and tall – with, well, more butter. I just think it’s comeletely hilarious, the two sizes, and decided to try my luck at this smart humor.

It uses a drawn outline, a traced fill (that I touched upon for hours and hours trying to remove what I don’t want to be seen), two background layers and two other layers of fill. You’ll get the SVGs later, feel free to dig them up once they’re released and render your own gigantic copies.

“My Pigeons” – they’re mine

There it is.

They’ve inspired me to draw them. I knew it’ll come sooner or later, and here it is. My pigeons. They’re here in the gallery.

I think I allowed myself to do quite a few things and go wild with the details, not to mention the background.

Take a look at the artwork here.

And here is the SVG source.

Along with my FAF series, I created a little doodle of a tongue, with a nail going through it and the text “Free Speech 2005″ appearing out of nowhere. The tonque is obviously bleeding, and is in great pain.

Look at the artwork here.
