Terror is the new Communist

— dushkin
@22:10

It seems like hatred comes and goes in a similar manner to, surprisingly enough, fashion.

Back in the days of the cold war “commie”, “red”, “communist”, “soviet” and other similar nouns, adjectives and adverbs were used to define just about anything bad. The US government liked the term “communism” a lot, and was pretty much against anything even remotely ressambling communism.

Now there’s “terrorism”. It’s basically a term used to describe any sort of action that involves attacking you, pretty much. Not to say that it’s not an issue - it is, only it’s taken for more than what it really is among the public.

What do I mean by that? Well, I will allude to Bush’s “War against terrorism.” Wars are fought against countries, organisations and such, not against tactics. Terrorism isn’t centrelized. There’s no global terror comitee (non which I know of). It’s been used so much by the press that it became devoid.

Murder is not justified, even in the form of war. Especially when you’re targetting innocent civilians or vague concepts. How long will it take until the word “terrorist” would be used as a swear?

Old House

— dushkin
@22:13

I keep a log where I write down all my dreams. I haven’t actually published anything I wrote down in there, but, I saw this entry and thought I should publish it.

The following entry was written in the 1st of August, 2006.

I went to see my old house.

I passed through a bad neighborhood, and saw the burning of communist flags, and thought how bad they’re treated. (Afternote: I was passing through a pretty tough neighborhood.)

Then I got into the building, and told Judy (a person I never knew existed), who apparentaly was the guard who guarded the exit from the elevator and convinced her to let me go past her. I told her my name and she didn’t remember me. I got out of the building and got back, and she wasn’t there. Interesting, so I went to the right door, and listened. I heard my mom talking to some more people. When I opened the door, nothing. They weren’t there.

Pet Plant

— dushkin
@22:35

I bought a plant as a pet.

I’ve had it for three days, but it still doesn’t have a name. Which I’m trying to find. Anyone got a good name for it?
