Infrastructure, I need you!

This house is falling apart piece by piece, literally.

The washing machine broke a few months ago, the phone lines sometimes spontaniously choose to take a holiday every now and then, and the electricity has a life of its own.

Just a few days ago, the noisy vent in the bathroom started making sparks, which knocked out the power for 10 hours. The technicians never came.

The lights in the kitchen used to play tricks on me, go out of sync (some lights would turn on when the others turned off and vice versa.) Funky.

Now, the internet connection is down. I don’t know why, but a lot like the rest of the infrastructure around here, I can just assume a solution. It has a life of its own, just like the rest.

Right now I’m using my dear neighbors’ wi-fi. The Linksys family, as their SSID advertises.

And now as I am writing this post, my space key began making this strange wheeing sound whenever I press it with my left thumb, but not with my right thumb. Come on!
