Hi... i'm quite new to my macbook... it's quite hard at first to understand and a little mayhem to me when you open windows, it's weird to see all of them as an overlay something... but really, mac is the most user friendly laptop...nice features for low price. By the way, what's rosetta for? Hope you can e-mail me what it is? I'm quite new in using mac, I own it already for 3 weeks and it's cool! I'm a graphic artist soon to be, but i'm only 16 and in college (multmedia arts in the Philippines), but I already knew some bits thru self study. Is illustrator more preferred in vector art? Sorry for bugging you up with mac. It's fun to be here, thanks.

Thanks for the words. I've been debating the purchase of a Macbook for a couple of months now. I work on a dual G5 at work, so I'm pretty spoiled, but I'm super-excited about this Macbook. I'm pretty much set on the decision... I really don't want to buy a PC anyway.

The only thing I concern myself over is how well Illustrator/ InDesign/ Photoshop really run using Rosetta... given that CS3 won't be released for quite some time still. Granted, I'll be buying the MB with 2GB of RAM, so that shouldn't be TOO big of a deal... of course CS3 will BLAZE once it's finally released.

Ok... I also concern myself over the fact that a lot of CAD programs are Windows only... but BootCamp takes care of that!

Now I just gotta bite the $3000 bullet. Yikes!
